Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of our accounting team and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This role plays a key part in managing month-end and year-end processes, coordinating audits, supporting global consolidation efforts, and driving improvements in financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset to help strengthen our financial processes across international entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee the month-end close process for the company’s U.S., European, and Asian business units, ensuring consolidated financial results are complete and accurate.
• Manage the general ledger and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and key financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of sales and use tax filings in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Lead the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors for interim and annual audits, tax reporting, and ad hoc reviews.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and champion the adoption of automation and technology to drive efficiency.
• Maintain and update accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal audit requirements.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to the accounting team, supporting professional growth and fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Proven ability to manage accounting teams and delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data clearly.
