Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced EH&S Manager to lead our Environmental Health & Safety initiatives across all divisions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and internal policies, while fostering a culture of safety that aligns with our SPIRIT values. 

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who can engage with team members at all levels, develop, implement, and maintain structured safety programs , and drive continuous improvement in our safety practices—especially within production environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S policies, programs, and procedures 
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; analyze findings and recommend improvements 
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders on safety matters 
  • Oversee the company’s safety program, including OSHA compliance, SDS management, and safety committee leadership 
  • Manage emergency preparedness plans, including disaster recovery and evacuation procedures 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA, GHS, HAZCOM, REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65
  • Lead the PPE program and maintain a comprehensive safety training calendar; deliver training as needed

Qualifications: 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 
  • 7 + years of experience in safety and compliance roles
  • 3 + years of experience in management roles
  • 3 + years of experience in a production environment 
  • Experience with global compliance standards such as GHS, REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65 
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Proven organizational leadership and project management abilities 
  • Ability to travel occasionally 

Preferred: 

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience managing maintenance and/or facilities
