Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Basic communication skills, written and verbal
• Performing basic and fractional mathematics
• Understanding decimal and fractional measurements
• Operate manual machines within the Die Manufacturing process

Additional skills within 12 months of employment:

• Identify common extrusions and their applications
• Perform duties of heat treating and nitriding
• Perform duties of deburring and finishing dies
• Perform duties of rework for die correction
• Properly extract inventory for production and perform routine inventory transactions

NOTE – All job skills must be maintained and cross training needs to remain consistent during employment.

Qualifications and Skill Requirement

• High school diploma or GED
• Machine Tool Technology or similar program or at least 5 years of die making or machinist experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and techniques.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word Software
• Forklift and material handling experience
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence

Pay:

$19.32-23.83 (based on relevant experience)
