Description TITLE: Physical Security Associate- Part-Time 20 Hours
LOCATIONS: Springfield, MO- Quad Cities, IL/IA- Des Moines, IA- Cedar Rapids, IA
Job Summary The Physical Security Associate is responsible for learning and performing a variety of key physical security competencies and tasks.
Essential Functions - Triage incoming service tickets and problem-solve physical security issues.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of security documentation as needed.
- Help track and analyze security related data to identify trends and support decision making.
- Support BSO staff with minor changes to the system.
- Update IOT firmware’s.
- Perform system checks.
- Provide support in responding to and investigating surveillance alerts or incidents.
- Provide support in system upgrades.
- Provide support in system outages/on call.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
- Build an understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Document and report incidents to relevant authorities and senior management.
- Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs.
- Complete all required training and comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position.

Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or in process of completing, preferred.
- Experience in low voltage, basic network concepts and basic desktop support, preferred.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.
- Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Shows interest to attend training and obtain future certifications.
Working Conditions - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel to different sites/charters including multi day overnights.
- Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
- Location in order of preference: Springfield, Joplin, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Quad Cities
Salary & Benefits The following compensation and benefits information is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws.
The starting wage for this position is $17.50 per hour. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
This position is a part-time position, and individuals employed as part-time are eligible for the following benefits subject to the terms, limitations and conditions of each benefit plan: Employee Stock Purchase and 401K.
