We are looking for an on-site Property Accountant to join our team! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading real estate agency in the Twin Cities area. • Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Compensation: $56,000-$73,000 annually

What you’ll do as the Property Accountant:

• Monthly financial statement and general ledger reporting for several (10-15) properties including a monthly cash flow analysis and presentation to the Property Managers on a staggered month-end cutoff
• Review and approve daily voucher approval of invoices to ensure accuracy of payments and verification within property budgets
• Post daily cash receipts
• Maintain the leasing database for your properties in the Property Management Module of MRI
• Assist the Property Manager with annual budgets
• Operate expense comparisons of actual to budget
• Forecast operating expenses
• Preparation of tax return work papers and operating expense escalation adjustments

What you’ll bring to the Property Accountant role:

• 4-year accounting degree
• 2-4+ years of experience in accounting
• Experience in commercial and/or health care property management
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Computer skills necessary: Word, Excel, Outlook
