As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for visitors and staff. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. + Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on premises. + Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as necessary to address incidents and requests. + Assist visitors and employees with security-related questions and provide guidance as needed. + Monitor access points and help to maintain a secure environment by following visitor and contractor management procedures. **Minimum Requirements:** + 3 years or more of prior law enforcement, military or adult corrections experience or a complete bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is required. + Customer service experience is preferred. + Possess a valid guard card or license is preferred. + X-ray screening experience is preferred. + Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or relationship/association with a protected veteran, or any other basis or characteristic protected by law.
