Location: Los Angeles, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 56 per hourAn eCommerce conglomerate is seeking a proactive and seasoned Senior Designer to lead the implementation and evolution of its enterprise brand. This role is ideal for a creative leader with a solid foundation in graphic design and art direction, particularly in developing brand identity systems, design guidelines, event themes, and cross-functional creative collaboration. The Senior Designer will play a key role in maintaining brand integrity across the organization, using a blend of hands-on design expertise and creative leadership.Responsibilities: Brand System Development: Build and execute omnichannel design systems aligned with the enterprise brand; contribute to the creation of sub-brands, service lines, and platform-specific identities across digital and physical touchpoints. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, external agencies, and artists to deliver cohesive creative outputs; lead the development of themes and assets for annual events and campaigns. Creative Operations: Keep workflows efficient, projects on brief, and deliverables polished by mitigating feedback loops and maintaining momentum. Trend Awareness: Monitor design and industry trends, tech innovation, and consumer behavior to inform forward-thinking brand decisions. Executional Excellence: Ensure high levels of quality and consistency across all touchpoints, from concept to final execution. Project Leadership: Manage complex design projects from start to finish, aligning output with business strategy and timelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, fine arts, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a senior design role focused on brand identity systems. Expertise in typography, logo creation, icon design, and color theory with a portfolio that demonstrates strategic and conceptual thinking. Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft Office, and Google Slides. Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills. Experience navigating fast-paced, high-stakes creative environments. Bonus: Proficiency in After Effects and illustration.
