Job Description

Growing North Phoenix boutique CPA firm is looking to add a tax Accountant to their staff.  This is a great opportunity to grow in your tax career.  This is an in-person position with a salary range of $65,000 - 90,000 depending on your experience level.

 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
• Preparing tax extensions
• Year end tax projections
• Tax Research
• Generating trial balances and financial statements
• Responding to IRS and other taxing authority notices
• Proactively communicating with clients to obtain necessary information and provide tax and financial feedback
• financial statement, reviews & compilations

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• CPA or CPA Candidate 
• 1 -4 years of tax experience in a CPA firm as well as experience of financial statement review and compilations.
• Proficiency in both general and accounting related computer software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments
