We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Engineer to support the deployment, installation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure. This role involves overseeing cable management, server rack installations, hardware deployment, and ensuring overall operational efficiency within the data center environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical experience and a strong understanding of best practices in data center infrastructure engineering.
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Deployment & InstallationLead the installation and buildout of server racks, network equipment, and power distribution units (PDUs) .
Oversee and perform deployment of servers and related hardware components.
Install, route, and terminate network and power cables including fiber optic and copper cabling.
Ensure all cabling is properly organized, bundled, labeled, and compliant with industry cable-management standards.
Verify connectivity and assist in troubleshooting network and power cabling issues.
Maintain data center efficiency by monitoring environmental conditions, equipment health, and rack layouts.
Assist with physical audits, equipment inventory, and documentation updates.
Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs within the data center.
Work closely with engineering, networking, and operations teams to support deployments and resolve technical issues.
Provide hands-on support during troubleshooting and escalation events.
Ensure adherence to data center safety, security, and operational standards.
Hands-on experience working in a data center or IT infrastructure environment .
Strong understanding of cabling best practices , server deployment, and physical infrastructure standards.
Ability to install and troubleshoot fiber, copper, and power cabling .
Experience building and installing server racks and hardware components .
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift, move, and work with data center hardware and equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
